Brainspotting is a technique that was discover through an EMDR session by David Grand in 2003. It is a therapeutic technique based on the principle that "where you look affects how you feel" (David Grand). It integrates the brain and body by focusing on eye movement and its connection to emotional experiences. Brainspotting helps people access deeply rooted emotional experiences by combining eye movements, body sensations, and minimal cognitive intervention. It allows the body to process emotions and release stored energy, making it a powerful tool for healing trauma and emotional distress.
